Our story
PictoPress is a product of Specialty Medical Response and Transportation, LLC ("SMRT"), a company dedicated to innovative technology solutions. PictoPress started as a passion project — a drag-and-drop book editor designed to make it easy for anyone to create illustrated picture books without needing expensive software or design expertise.
We saw teachers spending hours in complex tools just to create simple classroom books. We saw parents wanting to preserve family stories but not knowing where to start. We saw aspiring authors with brilliant ideas but no way to visualize them.
So SMRT built PictoPress: a platform where the technology gets out of the way and the story takes center stage. With cloud saving, AI tools, and a growing community library, PictoPress is evolving into the go-to creative platform for picture book creators of all ages.
